Science and Stormont 2026
Join us for the 15th annual Science and Stormont event. Designed to foster close relations with policymakers and key stakeholders and raise the profile of STEM in the Northern Ireland Assembly, Science and Stormont is organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry, on behalf of, and in cooperation with, Northern Ireland’s science and engineering community.
The event includes a speaker’s programme of keynote speeches and panel sessions, an exhibition space where you can network with colleagues from across the sector, and an early evening reception. This year’s theme will focus on the STEM Economy and Innovation. As we look ahead to the 2027 Assembly election this is an important opportunity to speak to MLAs about the issues that matter to our sectors.
Thank you to Dr Steve Aiken OBE MLA, Deputy Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly and Chair of the All-Party Group on STEM, for once again sponsoring this year’s event.
Science and Stormont brings together scientists, engineers and policymakers who are working to build a future for everyone. Refreshments will be provided throughout the event, along with an early evening drinks reception and fork buffet.
More information including a draft programme and speaker bios will be added shortly.
