Overview of the award

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the prestigious Outstanding Early Career Research Award, aimed at recognising and celebrating outstanding contributions in the realm of this journal.

The editorial team of the journal look back at exceptionally high-quality and innovative Sustainable Food Technology research published by early career researchers during the previous calendar year. A shortlist of articles is assembled based on a variety of metrics including article downloads, Altmetric score, and citations. This shortlist is reviewed by the journal's Editorial Board members based on the science presented and its potential future impact.
