The Selection process
Find out more about the assessment process.
EES Catalysis Outstanding Papers are selected from all articles and reviews published in the journal during the previous calendar year.
The Editorial Office compiles a shortlist of eligible papers using a range of metrics. The shortlisted articles and reviews are then evaluated and voted on by the EES Catalysis Editorial and Advisory Boards. The Editor in Chief, in consultation with the Editorial Office, selects the final winning papers, taking the Board members’ votes into account while retaining the final decision. The EES Catalysis Outstanding Papers comprise one research article and one review.
