Submissions now open

We invite submissions for a special joint themed collection in ChemComm and Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry dedicated to advances in atropisomerism.

This collection will highlight cutting-edge studies on all topics related to atropisomerism, included but not limited to: atroposelective synthesis; the properties of atropisomers; the application of atropisomers as a design element in ligands or catalysts; the application of atropisomers in medicinal chemistry; and the synthesis of atropisomeric natural products or materials. Submissions that bridge fundamental understanding with practical applications towards novel methodologies, catalytic systems, and functional molecules leveraging atropisomerism, are especially encouraged.

Manuscripts should be submitted via the journals’ respective online submission service. Please quote Axial Chirality in the “Themed issues” section of the submission form and add a “Note to the Editor” that this is from the open call. The submitted work must fall within the journal’s scope, and if it has not been submitted to the most appropriate journal, a transfer between journals may be offered. The Editorial Office reserves the right to check the suitability of submissions in relation to the scope of the collection and inclusion of accepted articles in the collection is not guaranteed.
