Biography
Hannah joined the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2017 as a Development Editor, working on Materials Horizons, Nanoscale Horizons and Nanoscale. She became a Deputy Editor in 2020 and has held positions on several journal teams in which she supported the development and launch of various open access journals. She is currently Managing Editor of RSC Applied Interfaces and RSC Applied Polymers.
Prior to joining the Royal Society of Chemistry, Hannah completed her undergraduate chemistry degree and PhD at Durham University, UK. Her research focused on “NMR crystallography” – combining solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy with X-Ray diffraction and computational techniques to probe the local disorder and dynamics in organic cocrystals.
Outside of work Hannah is concert manager for Wymondham Symphony Orchestra, in which she plays violin. She also enjoys reading and long walks with her husband and dog.
