Valrose chemical biology exchange 2026

The inaugural Valrose Chemical Biology Exchange 2026 (ValCBX 2026), supported through a promotional partnership with RSC Chemical Biology, will take place on 23 October 2026 at the Grand Château Valrose in Nice, France.

ValCBX 2026 will bring together researchers working at the interface of chemistry and biology for a day of scientific exchange, discussion and networking.

The symposium will explore emerging approaches across chemical biology, genetic code expansion, biorthogonal chemistry, protein engineering, molecular imaging, protein-protein interactions, and photocontrol and optogenetics. The programme will feature keynote lectures from leading international researchers, scientific presentations, industry spotlights and poster presentations.

ValCBX 2026 is designed to encourage interaction across disciplines and career stages, bringing together researchers from academia and industry in an informal and collaborative setting. Early-career researchers are particularly encouraged to participate and present a poster. 

Registration is free and includes the networking lunch. Places are limited.
