The Royal Society of Chemistry brings together researchers across India for a focused session on scientific publishing, membership value, and responsible research practice everything you need to navigate the journey from discovery to impactful publication.
The session opens with an introduction to RSC India, exploring who we are, what we do, and how our programmes connect researchers across disciplines and career stages. You will hear directly from the RSC India team about the community initiatives, regional activities, and opportunities available to scientists working across the country. Alongside this, we will walk you through the tangible value of RSC membership that ranges from access to world-class resources and professional networks, to recognition through Fellowship, awards, and continued career development.
A highlight of the session will be a dedicated talk by Dr Kay Burrows, who will guide attendees through the landscape of RSC journals, helping you identify the right home for your research, understand what editors look for in a strong submission, and make the most of open access routes to maximise the reach and visibility of your work. Dr Burrows will also cover the fundamentals of research ethics and responsible publishing including authorship standards, and the RSC's expectations for ethical conduct, so you can approach every submission with confidence and credibility.
Whether you are preparing your first manuscript or looking to grow your standing in the global research community, this session is designed to give you practical, actionable guidance directly from RSC editors and representatives. We look forward to welcoming you.
