You are warmly invited to join us in York, UK, in July 2027 for the 22nd International Conference on Biological Inorganic Chemistry (ICBIC22), which we are delighted to be organising with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). Set in the historic and beautiful city of York the conference will feature: 

  • An exciting, diverse and high-quality scientific programme showcasing the very best and latest research in biological inorganic chemistry
  • Seven themes spread across five days and multiple tracks, designed to highlight the full breadth and interdisciplinarity of the field
  • Plenary, keynote, invited and contributed talks given by a wide range of speakers, from prize-winning scientists to emerging early career researchers
  • Multiple poster sessions with prizes for the best posters – an excellent opportunity to network, showcase and discuss your work
  • Added-value sessions of broad appeal to delegates of all career stages and interests, including publishing workshops and careers advice
  • A full social programme, featuring a conference banquet, dedicated free time and plentiful networking opportunities 

    • Oral and poster abstract opportunities are available to all. We encourage you, whatever your career stage, to submit your work. Submission dates and further information below.
